"Del Rice, a former major league manager with the California Angels, has been added to the Yankee scouting staff as one of their major league scouts. He joins Harry Craft, Clyde King and Birdie Tebbetts in that capacity.
The Yankees enlarged their scouting staff, and now have 30 full-time scouts, in addition to their participation in the Major League Scouting Bureau."
